It has been our pleasure to serve seniors by ensuring their quality of life is enhanced by providing programs and services specifically de

signed for seniors. At Silver Threads we understand and promote the importance of seniors in building a healthy community by fostering their wealth of knowledge. We work to ensure a higher quality of life is achieved by promoting a senior friendly environment on a day to day basis. Congratulations to Kim Dixon on 31 tireless years of leadership to James Bay New Horizons and seniors in the community. Retirement is well deserved.
Our two organizations have partnered on a number of initiatives over the past decade, including our Outreach Project. We have benefited from your knowledge and common sense approach.
You have built capacity in the sector, created awareness and we look forward to your next stage and advocacy.
Thank you for all you have done. You will be greatly missed.

Through the City's Local Champions program, residents gain the skills and confidence to bring community-building ideas to life. This month, participants are leading three projects that help people connect, learn and get involved.

🌱 Pollinator-Friendly Native Plant Seed Giveaway

🎵 Move & Groove Picnic Party

Had a great out trip yesterday to play Mini-Golf at Blenkinsop. The sun was shining, and so were the Golfers. Lots of laughs and good fun. Thanks to our driver Glen and Peggy our Tour Guide for a lovely day.
