We host a range of programs and community events to facilitate settlement and promote multiculturalism, diversity, and inclusiveness in Richmond. Richmond Multicultural Community Services (RMCS) has a vision for a harmonious and inclusive society that values equality and diversity. At RMCS our mission is to foster intercultural harmony through leadership, collaboration, and quality service delivery. We are known for the services we provide to support the immigrant and refugee communities in Richmond. We are passionate about our role in the settlement, education, and integration of immigrants from the day they arrive in Richmond. We strive to welcome newcomers by assisting with their initial settlement needs. RMCS offers one-on-one support for newcomers to Canada as well as English language training, seniors programs, youth programs, and job search assistance including resume & cover letter writing support. Our staff is here to provide settlement services if you are new to Canada or have immigrated here long before. If you’re looking for help and don’t know where to begin, we are here to support you. Our Inclusive Communities Program (ICP) serves to help create a welcoming community for all. This program focus on diversity and inclusion, and is dedicated to assisting organizations and businesses create an inclusive city for newcomers to Canada.
