Courtney Clark brought an important message to the RV Women's Alliance Education Symposium: knowing when to persevere matters, but so does knowing when to pivot.

Her presentation challenged attendees to look beyond a goal and ask what they're really trying to achieve. Sometimes progress means changing habits, creating another plan or finding a new route toward the same purpose.

That lesson applies to our industry, too. Change takes more than acknowledging that things need to be different. It takes action, open minds and people willing to help each other find a way forward.

When a colleague is navigating a change, we can offer perspective, share what we've learned and encourage them to explore a different path.

We don't always need to have the perfect answer. Sometimes, we just need to help each other build the detour. 💜

We extend our sincere condolences to the family, friends and team at Pleasure-Way Industries on the passing of founder Mervin “Merv” Rumpel at age 93.

Merv helped shape Canadian RV manufacturing, building Pleasure-Way from its beginnings in a dealership back shop into a respected name in premium Class B motorhomes.

His commitment to craftsmanship, customer service and family values helped build a legacy that reaches far beyond the factory floor, touching the dealers who represent the brand and the RV owners who travel in his creations.

Our thoughts are with everyone who knew and worked alongside him. 🇨🇦

Service training has a long history in Canada's RV industry. 🔧

These photos capture participants and presenters at an RVDA OF BC service seminar in 1980. Men and women came together to learn, share knowledge and build their skills, decades before today's RVs brought their own new set of technical challenges.

The industry has changed considerably since then, but the need for practical training and shared expertise hasn't.

The Trouble Shooter Clinic continues that tradition, bringing hands-on RV technical training to a different Canadian destination each year. In 2026, it's heading to Truro, Nova Scotia, November 17–20.

Different decade. Different destination. Same commitment to learning.

Change isn't particularly interested in whether your dealership is ready for it.

Leaders still have to make decisions, set priorities and keep the business moving when the conditions aren't exactly cooperative.

The Convention includes conversations focused on leading through uncertainty and avoiding the management habits that can quietly undermine performance.

A useful reminder that leadership isn't just about having the answers. It's also about knowing what deserves your attention.

“Everyone has the same 1,440 minutes in the day. You can decide how you show up.”

Kim Becking - Momentum Motivation brought a powerful message to the RV Women's Alliance Education Symposium, challenging attendees to rethink change as an opportunity and redefine what resilience looks like.

But resilience doesn't have to be a solo effort.

In an industry built on relationships, how we show up for one another matters. It can mean sharing what we've learned, encouraging someone through a difficult change, offering a fresh perspective or simply reminding a colleague that they don't have to figure everything out alone.

We can't always control the changes that come our way. But we can choose to meet them with openness, support and a willingness to help one another move forward.

Because a stronger RV industry starts with how we show up for each other. 💜

Sometimes, a weekend job becomes a lifetime of impact.

Daniel Morin started out helping his father-in-law with the RV business so he could get away for a little fishing. What followed was a journey of entrepreneurship, industry leadership and lasting contributions to Canada's RV community.

From growing Roulottes Desjardins with his wife, Thérèse, to serving as RVDA of Canada president, Daniel's story is a reminder that building a strong industry takes more than running a successful business. It takes relationships, shared knowledge and a willingness to help others succeed.

Yesterday, the RV Women's Alliance Symposium opened with Dr. Amber Selking’s keynote on championship mindsets, followed by a panel discussion featuring three RVWA powerhouses: Susan Carpenter, Tracy Anglemeyer and Jenet Lewis.

It was a day to learn from experienced industry leaders, exchange perspectives and connect with women who bring so much knowledge and commitment to the RV community.

When industry members come together to share what they’ve learned, everyone has an opportunity to take something valuable back with them.
