143 people came out to our Kitsilano Try It Day!

From first-time players to seasoned tennis fans, it was amazing to see people of all ages and levels come out to get on court, try something new and enjoy the day. We had tennis lessons, games, face painting, prizes, giveaways and the debut of Tennis BC’s Smash Cage!

A huge thank you to our incredible volunteers, the Kitsilano Tennis Club — this day truly would not have happened without you — and our fantastic coaches for making it such a great day for the community.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made Kitsilano Try It Day one to remember!

On the girls’ side: Amy Shen and Alexandra Walker flew the BC flag high — with Amy putting together an incredible run to finish 4th in singles and reach the doubles semi-final!

So proud of this group for representing British Columbia at the national level. Congrats on a great tournament, Team BC! 🏆
