🎨ASN’S ANNUAL HOLIDAY PICTURE CONTEST IS BACK!

Calling all artists! It’s time to help us create something special for the holiday season.

We invite autistic artists of all ages to submit a winter holiday artwork scene for the chance to:

🎁 WIN a $50 gift certificate to Boston Pizza or Cineplex!

The winning artwork will be featured on the Autism Support Network’s year-end Holiday Card, mailed to our donors as a special thank-you. It will also be shared in our newsletter and on social media!

HOW TO ENTER:

🎨 Create a colourful, non-denominational winter holiday scene
📸 Send us a high-quality photo or scan of the artwork
🚫 Please do not include words in the artwork
🌈 Colour is an asset!
📅 Contest closes November 6, 2026

ASN Board members will select the winning artwork.

We are very grateful to our supporters, volunteers, and partners who make it possible for us to continue providing free information, education, and support to families across British Columbia. Thank you.

Our office will be closed on Monday, October 12, so our team can spend time with their families.

💜 Please join us in welcoming Harpreet Matharu to the ASN team!

Harpreet joins the Autism Support Network as a Parent Support Worker, providing support to families in Punjabi, Hindi and English.

As the proud mom of a 7-year-old diagnosed with autism, Harpreet brings valuable lived experience, empathy and understanding to her role. She has navigated the journey from diagnosis and therapies to ABA and school advocacy and understands many of the challenges families face along the way.

With a strong belief in “Parents helping parents,” Harpreet is passionate about helping Punjabi and Hindi-speaking families across BC access resources, navigate supports and feel informed, connected and empowered.
