Courtney Clark brought a powerful reminder to the RV Women's Alliance Education Symposium: growth isn't always about pushing harder. Sometimes [perhaps a lot of the times], it's about recognizing when a plan isn't working and having the courage to change direction.

Her message challenged attendees to look beyond the goal itself and ask, “What's the goal of my goal?”

That shift can change everything. Maybe the route needs adjusting. Maybe you need a parallel plan. Maybe the next step isn't another yes, but a decision to make room for something more meaningful.

Your career doesn't have to follow a straight line to move forward. Learn to recognize the dead end, rethink the route then build the detour.

Because change becomes real when you do something with it. 💜

RV tech training has been bringing people together for generations. 🔧

These photos take us back to an RVDA OF BC service seminar in 1980. Men and women gathered to learn, share their experience and build their technical knowledge.

The tools and technology have come a long way since then, but one thing hasn't changed: there's always something new to learn in RV service.

The Trouble Shooter Clinic keeps that learning going with 3.5 days of hands-on technical training, and this year it's making its way to Truro, Nova Scotia, November 17–20.

Because a strong RV technician is always building their skills.

What did we learn from looking at Canada's 2026 Top 50 RV dealers?

That there isn't one way into the RV industry.
❇️Learn the business from the ground up
❇️Build a business of your own
❇️Learn a skilled trade
❇️Grow with a company
❇️Find a role you didn't even know existed

And you don't necessarily need to arrive with years of RV experience.

Do you know what helps? Curiosity, a willingness to learn, wanting to help customers and solve problems definitely helps.

The skills can come with time.

That's part of what makes an RV career worth exploring.

“Everyone has the same 1,440 minutes in the day. You can decide how you show up.”

Kim Becking opened with a statement that makes you stop and think.

At the RV Women's Alliance Education Symposium, Kim challenged attendees to rethink how they approach change and redefine what resilience really means.

Change isn't always convenient. It doesn't always arrive when we're ready, and it rarely follows the plan we had in mind. But it can also create opportunities to learn, adapt and discover what we're capable of.

That applies to careers, too. The path forward won't always be predictable. What matters is how we respond, what we learn and what we choose to do next.

You may not control every twist in the road. But you have a say in how you show up for the journey. 💜

Imagine starting a business with five RVs and one employee. That's where Voyager RV Centre started in 1984.

Today, the family-owned business has more than 70 employees, 25 service bays and three service and detail shops. That's a lot of growth from a modest beginning.

It also says something about careers. Sometimes you don't know what a job can become until you're already on the journey.

There’s something special about being in a room full of women who know this industry, have helped shape it, and are still finding ways to move it forward.

Yesterday at the RV Women's Alliance Education Symposium, Dr. Amber Selking opened with a keynote on championship mindsets, setting the tone for a day of learning, fresh perspectives and inspiration.

That was followed by a panel featuring three RVWA powerhouses: Susan Carpenter, Tracy Anglemeyer and Jenet Lewis, sharing insights drawn from their experience in the RV industry.

For anyone building a career, opportunities like these are a reminder of the value of learning from people who have been there, asking questions, sharing experiences and seeing what’s possible.

The best part? Being surrounded by women who want to see others grow, too. 💜
