Invertebrate sampling led by ZoAnne of The Pacific Streamkeepers Federation! Did you know that the bugs in the stream can indicate the water quality of the stream? A higher proportion of bugs present that are sensitive to pollution may indicate a healthier stream ecosystem. The presence of certain species can also tell how much streams have recovered from disturbances, such as wildfires.

Thank you to the Pacific Salmon Foundation for funding this workshop!
