Our club volunteered at the annual Peterborough County Cattlemens Association Beef BBQ, where we had the opportunity to help out and spend time visiting with people in our community. It was a nice evening and a great way to connect with others!

Reminiscing a weekend of good food and great people!

A huge congratulations goes out to a retiring member who made amazing contributions to our club for the past 15 years!!

We are excited to send a member on her second exchange. She will be travelling to Austria!

The winter olympics may have been coming to an end this weekend in Milano Cortina but they had just begun for Junior Farmers.

14 teams from across Ontario competed in the Junior Farmers Olympic Winter Games. Each team showed great talent and enthusiasm but only three managed to make it to the podium.

Junior Farmers from across Ontario are coming together for Winter Games 2026 — a full day of competition, fun, and community. It’s the perfect chance to connect with JF members from all over the province. When the games wrap up, the fun continues with everyone heading to the Junior Farmers Dance at the Blackstock Community Centre to finish the day strong.

Join the Durham Region and Peterborough County Junior Farmers for a fun night of socializing and dancing on February 21st at 8:00 p.m. The dance is Olympic themed to support our teams at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina. It will be held at the Blackstock Recreation Complex, and everyone is welcome to attend. ** cash only **

The Junior Farmers Association of Ontario (JFAO) is a province-wide organization with 15 clubs, welcoming young people aged 15-29 from diverse backgrounds and experiences. It offers opportunities for community improvement, networking, and having fun. JFAO’s mission is to “build rural leaders through personal growth, travel, experiences, and community betterment.”
