Newcomer Kitchen Peterborough aims to empower newcomer women with cooking, workplace English and entrepreneurial skills, while providing them with a welcoming space to come together and share their stories about everyday challenges. The project is inspired by the work of Newcomer Kitchen (Toronto). It is supported in Peterborough by the New Canadians Centre in partnership with the Jewish Community Centre, and is a project of the Peterborough Immigration Partnership.
