Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre is a community based, independent, not for profit organization serving the needs of cancer patients, their families, and caregivers within the Midland, Penetanguishene, Tiny and Tay Townships. Our services are provided, free of charge, by caring professionals and trained volunteers.

A big thank you to the Rotary Club of Midland for their continued support of the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre

This year, the Rotary Club has once again stepped forward as a White Jersey Sponsor of the Georgian Bay Cycle for Hope, contributing $2,500 to help support local cancer care.

In the photo, Club member Ron Crane presents the cheque to Paul Eichhorn, Manager, Fundraising & Stewardship. The Rotary Club of Midland has been a longtime friend of the GBCSC, supporting initiatives such as our Garden of Hope, Comfort Kits, and many other programs over the years. Their generosity has helped us continue providing comfort, connection, and hope to those living with cancer across North Simcoe and Southern Georgian Bay.

As the Club celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, we want to congratulate its members on this remarkable milestone and thank them for the countless ways they have strengthened our community over the past seven decades.

A heartfelt thank you to the Wasaga Beach Lions Club for their generous $1,200 donation in support of the Georgian Bay Cancer Support Centre.

This contribution will help ensure that individuals and families living with cancer throughout Southern Georgian Bay have access to the support they need close to home. Our location in Collingwood at 185 Hume Street proudly serves the communities of Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, The Blue Mountains, Stayner, Meaford, and Thornbury through a wide range of programs and services offered at no cost to Members.

The GBCSC is so grateful for everyone in the community who went to Harvey's in Midland on May 13. Thanks to a portion of all sales donated to the Centre along with additional donations from customers, over $1,000 was raised through this fundraising event. A big thanks to Lorraine Moreau and Anne Beauchamp who helped to organize this event and spent time on site that day greeting customers and speaking to them about the important work of the GBCSC. Lorraine and Ann are pictured here with Paul Eichhorn, Manager, Fundraising and Sponsorships.
