Our final curtain has fallen, the stage is quiet, and somewhere backstage there’s still a lonely prop wondering why no one’s using it anymore.

To everyone who came, laughed, and maybe even snorted a little during Don’t Tell Mother — thank you! 💛 You filled our theatre with so much joy (and possibly a few gasps).

Now excuse us while we collapse into a heap of costumes, scripts, and leftover snacks. 🍪

Opening Weekend: Complete ✅

Well, we made it through opening weekend without anyone accidentally locking themselves in the bathroom or walking into a scene they weren’t supposed to be in (…okay, maybe just once, but it was theatrical).

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out and filled the theatre with laughter, applause, and that one perfectly timed snort. You were a dream audience!

This weekend, we were thrilled to spotlight Georgian Bay Musical Theatre Company—a group full of heart, talent, and jazz hands. We chose to support them because they’re empowering young and old through musical theatre, helping young people grow in confidence, creativity, and community. Basically, they’re building triple threats and good humans, and we’re all for that.

Thank you GBMTC for joining us, and thank you to our incredible audience for showing up and giving back. Let’s keep the laughter (and the giving) going next weekend! Here we come ❤️

🎭🚨 Opening Night Report: Don’t Tell Mother Has Entered the Building! 🚨🎭

Last night, “Don’t Tell Mother” opened its doors and within minutes… the audience was aboard a full-speed giggle train with no brakes! Seriously, we should’ve handed out seatbelts with the programs. 😂

Behind that open theatre door lies weeks of blood (fake), sweat (very real), and tears (mostly from laughing during rehearsals). Our cast dove headfirst into farce-land, our crew built magic behind the scenes, and our lighting team made everything sparkle like theatre glitter.

💥From accidental entrances to not-so-accidental double entendres, this show is the comedy you didn’t know you needed this summer.

We’re just getting started, and tickets are still available for the rest of the run! Don’t miss your chance to laugh your face off, support some amazing community organizations, and experience the charm of live theatre.

📣 BREAKING: Producer accidentally becomes Stage Manager for the night! 🎭🎧

Last night was our dress rehearsal with an audience… and guess who ended up calling the show? That’s right — me. The producer. With a headset. And no idea what button does what.

Let’s just say it was a thrilling ride of “Is this my cue?”, “Is that door supposed to be open?” and “WHO MOVED THE COAT?!”

But wow ! Thank goodness for our incredible backstage dream team. Kirk, Rob, Chris, Dayden, and Zara… absolute legends. They pulled me through like seasoned pros, while I just tried not to breathe too loud into the mic.

Honestly, I couldn’t have done it without their calm, cool, collected chaos. Proud to be part of a team that can laugh, hustle, and make the magic happen together. 💛🎭
