Brookside Music Association Announces Expanded 2026 Festival of the Bay Featuring International Artists and Free Bandshell Concerts

Midland, ON – Brookside Music Association is delighted to announce the return of its Festival of the Bay, an exciting summer celebration of music that brings internationally acclaimed artists and diverse cultural traditions to audiences across the region.

New this year, the festival expands to include the One World Music Festival in a series of free Saturday evening concerts at the Little Lake Park bandshell, highlighting global music traditions and community celebration.

“We are thrilled to expand the Festival of the Bay this summer by incorporating the One World Music Festival,” said Artistic Director John French. “This initiative reflects our commitment to accessibility and cultural diversity—bringing outstanding artists from around the world to Midland, and creating opportunities for the entire community to experience live music in welcoming, informal settings.”

The 2026 festival features an extraordinary range of artists—from internationally celebrated classical performers to vibrant world music ensembles, choirs, and jazz groups.
