As we approach the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we invite you to join us on September 30th to honour and remember the Survivors of residential schools and those who never returned home, and reflect on the ongoing journey towards truth, reconciliation and healing.



Starting at 11:00, we will be opening the day with a Prayer, followed by a community lunch and discussions revolving around Truth and reconciliation. We will then say "Baamaapii" to our Regalia Exhibit and finish our day with a traveling song from our Women's Hand drumming Group.

A Sacred Fire will be lit from 10-5pm for community use.

We're jazzed to share the first two guided nature walks with Georgian Bay Biosphere - GBB from June and July! 🐝

Each walk had its respective theme, with the overall goal to observe the changes in ecosystems throughout the summer.

Our first walk was all about bugs and pollinators - how to properly ID them and their contribution to the ecosystems. In July, participants learned about the birds you can spot along the trail.

Thank you GBB for sharing your wealth of knowledge! We are already looking forward to next summer 💚💙
