‼️DO NOT USE HAMMOCKS (or fabrics)‼️

Unpopular opinion? That's fine! We cannot say enough how DANGEROUS hammocks and fabrics are in cages with animals who CHEW EVERYTHING! When there's alternatives that are SAFER AND CHEAPER, why not make the switch!

Check out these photos and our resources page to find out more Do and Don't for your rat cage! With our years of experience and thousands of rats, we're confident in the advice we give and are always happy to discuss how to safely setup your rat cage!

Oh what a whirlwind you bridge babies caused us this summer! Your 5 moms were almost done their quarantine, then suddenly out popped one litter, and then another, and another.... 5 litters all at once 🙀

52 new souls born in the rescue, and then we sat there countless nights shocked and in dismay as to how the heck we would handle 52 MORE RATS!!

Today we're celebrating the adoptions of 32 of you little beans. We never thought we would come this far so quickly. We are so thankful and gracious for our community, who were touched by their story and opened up your hearts and your homes to these babies in our time of crisis. We couldn't have given them the beautiful love-filled life they all deserve without you all 💕

Even though we still have 20 bridge babies waiting for forever homes, finding homes for over half of this May mega litter already is an accomplishment for sure. We tried to keep track of everyone with number codes, took so many documenting photos, cross-referenced spreadsheets, but gosh it was a challenge keeping track of who was who 😅

Sending you our continued love to all who have been adopted, you're going to have the best lives 💕💕🐁

COMING SOON FOR ADOPTION 🤍

Yet another litter for us this year (this is the 4th 😭 or, the 8th given our May mega litter was actually 5 litters).

These babies and their mom Athena were taken in on an emergency basis when their owner was vastly unprepared for the world of rats, and unfortunately were wrongly told they had 4 boys. 1 was a girl, and out came 8 more rats.

These babies are now 2.5 weeks old and will be available to reserve for adoption in the coming days. Aren't they just so CUTE!! There are some dumbos too 🥰 Fill out an adoption application at frankiesworld.ca 🐁 🤍

What we need: HELP! We supply everything (cage, 24/7 support, medical care etc…), we just need homes and hands who can help raise these little cuties until we can find them all homes 🥰.
Criteria: NON-smoking/vaping, responsible, reliable to check in with us, provide pics/videos to update our website, able to drive to us OR within 30 mins from one of our locations (Parry Sound, Hamilton/Burlington).
