The Ottawa Police Service’s Purse Project has been transforming lives since 2015, ensuring that no woman in crisis has to go without essential hygiene products.

In this milestone year, the Capital Prosperity Foundation is proud to support this initiative by providing gift cards for every purse filled.

CPF is helping to celebrate 10 years of the Purse Project!

From now until December 14, Capital Prosperity Foundation is proudly collecting funds to add $10 gift cards to every purse donated this year.

Last year, 260 purses filled with essential items were donated to women in challenging circumstances. With this being the Purse Project's 10th anniversary, they are aiming even higher to donate a minimum of 300 purses filled with dignity, care, and a little extra kindness.

Many of the shelters and drop-ins supported by the Purse Project also have children living in them, which aligns closely with our Foundation’s mission and our partnership with the Police Service. We’re honored to help make a difference for these families during a time when support matters most.
