A beautiful afternoon spent honouring a life that made a difference.

Today, we were privileged to be a small part of the life celebration and vigil for Peter Clark, who tragically lost his life over 40 days ago while working as a crossing guard.

In his memory, Proud to Be Me donated a Friendship Bench to the school he faithfully served, a place where students can connect, feel supported, and be reminded of the kindness Peter showed every day.

Amanda’s tribute to her husband was incredibly moving. She spoke with such love and warmth, you felt like you knew him personally.

It was powerful to see so many fellow crossing guards, volunteers, and community members come together to honour someone who gave so much of himself to others.

Peter’s impact will continue to live on in this community, in the students he protected, and now through a space that encourages connection and belonging. 💙

🦋 Another Friendship-Butterfly Mural Takes Flight! 🦋

Proud to Be Me is thrilled to share that our latest Friendship-Butterfly Mural has been gifted to St. Emily School!

A huge thank-you to the incredible Sarah Doll, whose talent, heart, and creativity continue to brighten school hallways across our community. Sarah — you are an amazing artist, and we’re so grateful for the joy and kindness you bring to each mural. 💛🎨

These murals are more than artwork — they’re daily reminders for students to choose kindness, celebrate friendship, and take care of one another.

Thank you, St. Emily’s, for welcoming this project into your school. Together, we continue to build a kinder, more connected community. 💙

✔️ A short food menu will be available for pre-order and purchase at the event
