Associazione Emiliana in Ottawa Founded in 1979
Maintaining traditions of the region They experienced several challenges but over came them all by gathering with others from their region.

After the Second World War many people left Emilia-Romagna, a region in northern Italy and a good number of those people came to Ottawa, Canada. As time passed these gatherings became larger and larger so one night in the fall of 1979 the Associazione Emiliana di Ottawa was founded.
