The LivingRoom is a registered charity that provides people with opportunities to express themselves and connect with others through experiences of art making, skill sharing and dialogue at no cost. We believe that EVERYONE is an artist, and welcome people from all walks of life, including those who are most marginalized, to take part in creative processes that we believe to be inherently therapeu

We had a store front studio location in downtown Oshawa where people from all walks of life are welcome to drop by and make and share their art for free, but due to the pandemic, we are online only for the time being. On the bright side our community has expanded to welcome people from all over the world. We are also open to tabling at community events for organizations around Durham region - and love sharing what the studio project is about with others through talks and pop-up art studios. Check in with our page and Twitter - - to keep up-to-date on what's going on near you! And if your neighbourhood or organization is interested in hosting a LivingRoom pop-up event please let us know!
