Celebrating AccessAbility - Your Voice

Help us make 100 Mile House a more accessible and inclusive community for everyone.

If you have experienced barriers that have made it difficult to fully participate in daily life due to a disability — or know someone who has — we encourage you to share your feedback with us.

Your input helps identify opportunities to improve accessibility and create a community where everyone can participate, connect, and thrive.

Today is Red Shirt Day, an initiative launched by Easter Seals that was first celebrated in 2019. Red Shirt Day takes place annually on the Wednesday of National AccessAbility Week.

Wearing red on this day creates a visible display of solidarity for people with disabilities, their families, and shows your commitment to helping improve accessibility and inclusivity in your community. Join us by wearing a red shirt today to help support our shared vision of a barrier-free Canada where everyone is included.

Alt text: Webcard that reads “Easter Seals Red Shirt Day - National AccessAbility Week – June 3, 2026 – .” The logo of Easter Seals Red Shirt Day appears to the right of the text in red, with a decorative red element above it. Our office’s applied signature and the Canada wordmark appear at the bottom.
