This sweetheart of a giant is still looking for a loving home to live out his remaining years.

We've been asked a lot if he's lightly rideable so we tacked him up and swung a leg over.
While he's definitely been ridden in the past, we feel it's been many many years.
He's a big old guy who loves people, and might just be best as a companion in our opinion. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Remember CAPTAIN?

When we first met this sweet old boy, he was in heartbreaking condition. He was painfully skinny, neglected, and in such poor shape that we honestly weren’t sure he would survive. To make things even harder, he had to have one of his eyes removed immediately.

Thankfully a wonderful local family stepped up and took him in, giving him the love, patience, care, and dedication he so desperately needed. Today, he looks healthy, happy, and absolutely wonderful! Seeing him now, it’s hard to believe just how far he has come!

We are beyond grateful to this incredible family for opening their hearts and home to him. There are no words to fully express what their kindness has meant to this horse and to us.

His story is a beautiful reminder that it’s never too late to make a difference in a life, and that even the oldest, most forgotten horses deserve a chance to be loved.

Thank you for giving this boy the happy, healthy, and loving life he deserves. We will forever be grateful. ❤️🐴

Day 1 post castration for this handsome guy. 😍
He'll need some time to heal up then we'll continue his training under saddle.
Hes going to make one heck of a riding partner.

We've often been asked, "Isn't it hard to let them go?" Or "Don't you want to keep them all?"

But honestly, finding a good fit and letting these horses go to amazing homes is THE BEST. We LOVE seeing the new connections, the happiness in both the horse and the human, and that is a million times more rewarding than keeping them all. ❤️

Eastwood recently went to his new home and now has a lovely little girl who is over the moon in love with him! 🙌

How awesome is that!

Seeking a companion type home for this sweet and kind 20 yr old mare.
Pardon has been a brood mare the last decade of her life and deserves to hang her hat from making foals.

Maybe you need a seasoned baby sitter? Or a companion for your ponies?
She is very kind, well behaved, ties, bathes and all the things. She's also lower in the pecking order and currently lives in a mixed herd.
No maintenance! She IS sound but we wouldn't recommend a riding career for her due to her swayback.
