October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.

This month, we remember every little life that was brief, yet deeply loved. We also recognize the parents, siblings, grandparents, and loved ones who continue to carry the weight of loss and grief.

Join us in Olds for the International Wave of Light on October 15th, 2026, a day dedicated to remembrance and connection.

We invite you to gather in community through two meaningful in-person events:

Lunchtime Gathering
Cocoa Tree Bake Shoppe
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

{Drop in for a warm drink, sweet treats, and gentle conversation in a welcoming space of understanding and support.}

Evening Wave of Light Celebration & Meal
Olds & Area Pregnancy Support Centre
5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

{Join us for an evening of remembrance featuring candle lighting, a light meal, memorial stations, and opportunities for connection. Registration is appreciated, but drop-ins are always welcome.}

As candles are lit around the world at 7:00 p.m. local time, together we create a continuous Wave of Light, honouring babies gone too soon and the families who love and remember them always.
