Throwback to our Commemorative Tree Planting Ceremony, which was held on Saturday!

The weather was beautiful, brought an amazing BBQ, and the whole event was a success!

We're so appreciative to for the beautiful Flowering Crabapple Tree!

Last week we had the privilege of visiting to pick up the commemorative tree that the SAOC gifts to each year’s graduating class!

While we were there, we did a quick little tour of the facilities… and we were impressed!

From florals to fruit trees, Eagle Lake Nurseries has all your landscaping needs!

Volunteer for our Pantry Garden Team, and help us grow some amazing fruits and vegetables that will be used to feed some hungry students this fall!

Join us on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 11am - 1pm at the Olds College wetlands for our annual TREE PLANTING CEREMONY!

Each year the SAOC partners with to donate a sapling to commemorate the year’s graduating class. Over time, these trees will grow into an arboretum that will serve as a living legacy for our student members!

Attendance is FREE, and we will be serving hamburgers from (first 30 attendees get theirs for FREE!!!). Beer and wine will also be available for purchase, and we will be playing some great tunes as we commemorate the class of 2026!

As we (finally!) say goodbye to winter and head towards the summer, you may notice a decreased number of staff and students on campus.

While the SAOC office is open with reduced hours during the summer, you may also occasionally glimpse members of your Students' Association Executive Council popping up at events and activities on campus!

Feel free to say hi to them... they are always happy to engage with members of the student community!

And if you need to reach any of them for any formal support or information over the summer, visit the SAOC website to view their profiles and drop them an e-mail!
