A very BIG THANK YOU to THE EXTRA MILE MINISTRIES for the opportunity that was extended to me to be able to study a Standard Blended First Aid/ CPR Level C, which i completed today and I had a great experience at the in-person training @ the TORONTO CPR with Instructor Munawar. The session was very well organized, engaging, and easy to follow. Munawar explained each step clearly, demonstrated techniques thoroughly, and made sure everyone felt confident practicing the skills.
The hands-on approach really helped reinforce the learning, and all questions were answered with patience and expertise. I have left the training feeling much more prepared and confident to respond in an emergency. I HIGHLY recommend this training and the Training Team as well!

Homelessness continues to be a heartbreaking reality for many people in Toronto, and organizations like Fred Victor are doing incredible work to bring hope, stability, and practical support to those who are struggling.

Through emergency shelters, transitional housing, affordable housing, and support services, they are helping people move from crisis toward a more stable future — reminding them that their lives matter and that they are not forgotten.

Thankful that The Extra Mile Ministries was able to donate $10,000 to support Fred Victor’s important work serving people experiencing homelessness and poverty in our city. ❤️

One of the things that is deeply moving is seeing the courage and resilience of refugee families who come to Canada after fleeing war, conflict, and unimaginable hardship.

We're thankful that The Extra Mile Ministries was able to donate $10,000 to Christie Refugee Welcome Centre, another Christian organization, to help support the important work they do for refugees and newcomers in Toronto.

For many families, arriving in a new country means starting over completely — finding housing, learning a new culture, overcoming trauma, and trying to build a safe future for their children. Support from organizations like Christie Refugee Welcome Centre can make such a meaningful difference during that transition.

As Christians, we are reminded in Scripture to care for the stranger and welcome those in need: “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” — Matthew 25:35 ❤️

Grateful to support organizations that help bring hope, dignity, and a fresh start to so many lives.

At The Extra Mile Ministries, we believe lives are changed when ministries come together with a shared purpose. That’s why we’re grateful to support Yonge Street Mission with a $10,000 donation toward the important work they continue to do in our community.

As Christian organizations, we share a heart for walking alongside individuals and families facing hardship - offering not only practical support, but also hope, encouragement, and compassion.

We thank Yonge Street Mission for their dedication to serving Toronto so faithfully. It’s a blessing to partner together in making a positive difference in the lives of others.

Hey friends!

We’re getting ready for our annual Back-to-School Program, and we’re so excited to come alongside Toronto families again this year.
If you know a child or youth who could use a free backpack filled with school supplies, we’d love for you to pass this along. It’s open to Toronto students in grades 1–12 from low-income households.

Applications open June 1 — mark your calendars!
