📢 We’re hiring a Makerspace Technician!

Join our team at the Near North Makerspace and help support creative technology, fabrication equipment, workshops, and community programming. Work with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC fabrication equipment, digital media tools, VR technology, and more while helping artists, makers, youth, and community members bring their ideas to life.

💰 $19/hour
⏰ 35 hours/week
📅 1-Year Paid Internship
🗓 Apply by June 28, 2026

✅ Applicants must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Be a new entrant to the workforce, transitioning careers, unemployed, or underemployed entering a new field

🛠️ VOLUNTEERS WANTED! 💡

We’re looking for some tech-loving volunteers interested in helping support an upcoming Inventors Workshop STEM Program for youth ages 14–19 at the Near North Makerspace. ⚙️✨

No electronics experience is required. Volunteers will receive introductory training and learn alongside participants while helping support hands-on creative STEM projects. 🤖

This is a great opportunity for makers, hobbyists, retired educators or tradespeople, lifelong learners, and anyone interested in supporting youth and learning something new.
