Starting Wednesday, January 12, 2022, we are beginning a new session of our Virtual Peer-Led CBT.
Peer-Led Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a program to help effective for a range of problems, including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness. Peer-Led CBT is based on several core principles, including:

+ Psychological problems are based, in part, on faulty or unhelpful ways of thinking.
+ Psychological problems are based, in part, on learned patterns of unhelpful behaviour.
+ People suffering from psychological problems can learn better ways of coping with them, thereby relieving their symptoms and becoming more effective in their lives.

Virtual Peer Support Circle is a support group made for individuals struggling with mental health and/or addiction concerns by Peer Support Worker, who are individuals with lived experience.
This support group meets every Friday at 11:00 am via Zoom.

Starting Wednesday, September 8, 2021, we are offering a new session of Peer-Led Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. We meet for 8 weeks every Wednesday at 2:00 pm (EST).
Peer-Led Cognitive behavioural therapy is a psycho-social intervention, taught by an individual with lived that aims to improve mental health. PLCBT focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions and behaviours, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
PLCBT can be a very helpful tool in treating mental health disorders, such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or an eating disorder. PLCBT can also be beneficial for those just looking to make more sense of life. PLCBT can be an effective tool to help anyone learn how to better manage stressful life situations.
