Vesna Ukrainian Dancers

Vesna Ukrainian Dancers Vesna is a Ukrainian dance group based in Nanaimo BC and has been in existence since 1984 Vesna, which means "spring", was formed in 1984.

Since then the Vesna dancers have appeared at various venues and events including the Vancouver Island Ukrainian Concert, Port Alberni Folkfest, Courtenay Malanka, Wesley Street Downtown Multicultural Street Festival, numerous Ukrainian Christmas dinners celebrations and
numerous special events such as weddings, anniversaries and dinners. Vesna's colorful costumes and lively performances also have


delighted many residents of the senior citizen complexes. We offer classes usually from ages 5 to adults. No experience is necessary and all nationalities are welcome. The dance season runs from September to June with classes currently being held on Tuesdays evenings. We offer two free classes on a trial bases if
you are interested. Please message us if you are interested.

This isn't just a performance—it's a celebration of the people, traditions, and stories that connect us from Kyiv to the Coast.
