International Transgender Day of Visibility is an annual awareness day celebrated around the world on March 31st.

The day is dedicated to acknowledging the discrimination and violence experienced by people who are transgender. It also celebrates the accomplishments of transgender and gender nonconforming people while raising awareness of the work that still needs to be done to achieve transgender justice.

NWBN’s inclusion statement is: We are committed to fostering a community culture where women and gender-diverse folks, alongside people of all backgrounds, feel Belonging, as well as valued and empowered. Diversity encompasses a variety of lenses-and we strive to ensure every voice is invited, respected and celebrated.

As a collective, we are accountable to continually learn and build an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and reach their fullest potential. When we take ownership of shared belonging, we forge meaningful relationships and birth safety for everyone.
