I believe I have just had a highlight experience - listening to the impeccable composition of participating voices and it's alignment with the nature surrounding.

The Nature of Us is taking place RIGHT NOW at Bowen Park - near the amphitheatre- and until 9pm. It is a FREE, surround sound listening experience seriously not to be missed.

Heaven might sound like this and the relaxation I experienced might be how angels feel.

Chinese Opera genres bring together movement, music, voice, costume, character, and storytelling in one highly expressive art form.

For audiences who may be new to it, this is part of what makes the experience so compelling: every gesture, sound, colour, and movement can carry meaning.

Crimson Coast Dance is preparing to bring this tradition to Nanaimo as part of the 28th Annual InFrinGinG Dance Festival with Canadian-based Opera artist William Lau, Sheng O, Heidi Specht, Bonnie Tam and Miao Yu-Hua
