Earlier this week, ASHRAE Toronto hosted its first golf simulator networking event! ⛳🤝

Women in ASHRAE, YEA, and the Council for Women in Energy and Environmental Leadership (CWEEL) joined forces for an afternoon of networking and golf skills practice, coached by national championship-winning golfers Jordon Newlands and Elaine Surjoprajogo. 🏌️‍♀️

Together, we teed off on the virtual green, worked on our short games, took a few mulligans, and made meaningful connections along the way.

Our associations help create spaces that support, elevate, and amplify women in our industry, work that benefits all of us. Thank you to our volunteers, attendees, and generous sponsors for making this event such a success! ✨

No clubs, no experience needed – just come have fun with fellow HVAC and energy professionals. Professional golf coaches will be on hand to help us refine basic skills including grip, stance, swing, balance, and consistency. To be followed by interactive games and networking. ✨ Event Recap: ASHRAE Toronto & Hamilton Dinner & Debate on Humidification Strategies ✨

What an insightful and engaging evening bringing together professionals across the HVACR industry to explore one of today’s most relevant topics, humidification strategies.

The discussion on adiabatic vs. isothermal systems sparked valuable perspectives, highlighting how factors like technology, cost, maintenance, indoor environmental quality (IEQ), and decarbonization are shaping decision-making in modern HVAC design.
