Lymphoma Canada

Lymphoma Canada Lymphoma Canada connects and empowers this community. Lymphoma Canada is wholly Canadian. Our Vision

Life unlimited by lymphoma.

Together we are promoting early detection, finding new and better treatments, helping patients access those treatments, learning lymphoma's causes and finding a cure. All of our resources are derived from Canadian statistics and feature only Canadian specific information. All of our materials are reviewed and approved by our Scientific Advisory Board comprised of Canadian researchers and clinician

s. All members of our Board of Directors reside in Canada and Lymphoma Canada funds only Canadian researchers. Our Mission

Empowering patients and the lymphoma community through education, support, and research. How We Do It

Lymphoma affects many people, from patients, family and caregivers, to medical professionals and researchers. Together we are promoting early detection, finding new and better treatments, helping patients access those treatments, learning lymphoma's causes, and finding a cure. Lymphoma Canada provides, at no cost and in both official languages: electronic and print materials on the Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma and CLL, peer and caregiver support groups, educational forums and advocacy on behalf of patients. Lymphoma Canada also funds Canadian research. Our Structure

We are Canada’s only national organization focused entirely on lymphoma. A registered charity, we are led by a volunteer board of directors drawn from the Canadian lymphoma community. Our board includes lymphoma patients and medical and research professionals. A small, dedicated staff brings expertise in program implementation, communications, fundraising, and administration. We are guided by expert members of a Scientific Advisory Board. Lymphoma patients across the country help organize, and participate in, education events, support groups, and online forums. Lymphoma Canada operates in both official languages, with staffed offices in Ontario and Quebec and a volunteer presence across the country.

When Laura heard the words Stage 4 and aggressive lymphoma, everything changed.

By January 2026, everything escalated. Tests, biopsies, scans, and suddenly, treatment couldn’t wait anymore. Laura began an intensive chemoimmunotherapy treatment that requires her to travel four hours every 21 days.

Laura has shared her full story on LinkedIn, in her own words, from diagnosis to treatment, and the role education and support played along the way.

By Laura, Lymphoma Patient | In collaboration with Lymphoma Canada In July 2024, I found a lump the size of an egg at the top of my right leg. A few months later, after tests and scans, I got the call.
