A habit may be considered harmful when it has a negative impact on your physical or mental well-being, contributes to dependency, or begins to interfere with your daily life, finances, or overall health.

Consider whether you experience strong cravings or feel a need to use a substance regularly, such as during breaks or at certain times of the day.

Examples include:

- Smoking or va**ng THC or ci******es, including ci**rs
- Drinking alcohol
- Using cannabis edibles
- Misusing opioids
- Relying heavily on painkillers or using them more often than recommended

Moderation is key! Be honest and see if there are any patterns of heavy use in your habits!

Your body wasn't designed to stay in one position all day. 📱

If you're experiencing a sore neck, tight shoulders, or an aching back after scrolling, try this:

✅ Prop it.
✅ Lift it.
✅ Distance it.
✅ Move with it.

Reflecting on your family history can provide valuable insight into patterns of physical and mental health conditions and may help identify potential hereditary risk factors.

It is important to understand that the absence of a condition, such as diabetes, within your immediate family does not necessarily mean that you are not at risk of developing it. Health conditions can be influenced by a combination of genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors.

Genetic traits can vary significantly among family members, and certain inherited characteristics may appear in individuals even if they have not previously been observed within the family. As a result, an individual's risk of developing a particular health condition cannot be determined solely by their family history.

Diabetes can affect anyone; however, certain genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors may place some individuals at a higher risk than others.
