Askennonia Senior Centre was incorporated September 4 1987 and has been providing services and programs to the 55+ North Simcoe community ever since.

"Askennonia" is a Ouendat greeting that means: Peace, Wholeness and Well-being. Starting May 30 2022, we’ll add more outdoor activities - see list of current programs on our website in our weekly eblast.

A huge thank you to the OACAOfor putting together such a wonderful Aging Well Conference!
Blair and Melanie, had a fantastic few days filled with great information, learning, networking and so many valuable takeaways. We came away with some wonderful ideas from the breakout sessions, made some great connections, and even gathered some inspiration and content for future events and programming! The entertainment was wonderful, and the entire conference was so well organized. It’s easy to attend an event like this and enjoy everything it has to offer, but we also recognize the countless hours, planning, hard work and energy that go on behind the scenes to make it all happen. Thank you to everyone involved for creating such a valuable and enjoyable experience.
