📣 Spread the Word: We’re Looking for Office Support Volunteers!

Do you know someone who wants to make a real difference in their community? We’re looking for Office Support volunteers to help support the team at Gateway Centre for Learning.

Office Support volunteers assist Gateway staff with clerical tasks, including directing visitors, answering calls and emails, and booking appointments. Training is provided.

Volunteers play an important role in helping us create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who comes through our doors.

This fundraiser would support adult literacy and upgrading programs at Gateway Centre for Learning, helping learners build reading, writing, math, and technology skills in our community. 📚💻

As of February 2026, we’ve expanded our technology coaching program to help seniors keep pace with rapidly evolving changes.

Through hands-on personalized device support and patient guidance, we help adults 55 and over gain confidence in using smartphones, social media, online tools and more — bridging the digital divide one device at a time. Programs include in-home sessions which support you with everyday technology needs, connecting devices to the internet, and connecting devices to printers ($50 / hour).
