Support from the Heart of Georgian Bay Community Forward Fund and Huronia Community Foundation is helping CLH Foundation’s Bridging the Gap initiative take a fresh step forward.

Through the Good Food Shop, SIL members will continue building skills in budgeting, shopping, choice, and healthy living — while accessing fresh foods that meet their own needs and preferences.

On this (or 🍟) , we are highlighting the support of Harvey’s Midland.
For the third year in a row, Harvey’s Midland has hosted a CLH Foundation Day at their restaurant on Highway 93, with 10% of the day’s proceeds donated back to CLHF for programs that benefit members of the CLH-supported community. Thank you to Ken King, Meghan Stanek, and the entire Harvey’s crew for their hospitality and generous support! It’s a beautiful thing!

One of the most meaningful moments of A Red Carpet Concert each year is the presentation of our annual impact video— a chance to share the lived experiences of those in our community. 🌟

This year’s video, Our Village, celebrates the people who make all things possible through compassion, generosity, connection, and support.

We are incredibly grateful to our Impact Sponsor, Midland Toyota, as well as Kevin Cascagnette and Wendy Mullin of Collaborative Haus for helping bring this story to life.

Today, we honour the life and legacy of Reinhart Weber — a man whose generosity and vision left a profound impact on both the CLH community and countless organizations and initiatives across our region. His unwavering commitment to those supported by CLH, alongside his broader dedication to strengthening this community, leaves an indelible legacy that will be felt for generations to come.

Many years ago, when construction began on the CLH Olive Street location, Mr. Weber was involved from day one, helping ensure the success of a project that would create greater opportunity, independence, and quality of life for members of the CLH community. His belief in what was possible for those we support never wavered.

That commitment continued throughout his lifetime, and was especially evident when CLH Foundation was established in 1998. From the earliest days of CLHF, Mr. Weber was a steadfast supporter and trusted advisor. In 2024, The Weber Foundation made a historic gift to CLH Foundation in support of future safe and affordable living for members of the CLH community — a transformational act that will continue to make a difference for many years to come.

Mr. Weber will be remembered for his compassion, integrity, wisdom, and for the deep care he showed to this community throughout his life.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all those mourning this tremendous loss.
