The Centre includes an amphibian and reptile display hall, hiking, biking and skiing trails, canoeing and kayaking routes, an observation tower and boardwalks, birds of prey display, education classroom, event facilities, gift shop and Naturalists on staff.

When school's out, winter fun is IN!

Looking for something fun for the kids over the holiday break? Winter Break Camp at Wye Marsh is back!

From snowy adventures and wildlife discoveries to outdoor exploration and new friendships, there's plenty of winter fun waiting at the marsh!

Registration opens Tuesday, October 27, at 6 a.m.! Set those alarms — spots are limited!

Members: $150 | Non-Members: $195

Members: $200 | Non-Members: $260

Need a little extra flexibility? Early care and late care are available for $10 each.

Happy weekend from Wye Marsh!

Looking for a little fresh air and outdoor fun? Get out and explore our trails, take a stroll along the boardwalk, and stop by the Birds of Prey Field to say hello to our amazing animal ambassadors!

Don't forget, every Sunday at 1 p.m. we host Feature Creature in the Birds of Prey Field! It's a wonderful opportunity to meet one of our animal ambassadors up close and learn what makes them so special. Included with admission!

We’re so proud to share that Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre has received the Sustainability Award from the Southern Georgian Bay Chamber of Commerce!

A big thank you to the Chamber for this recognition, and congratulations to our fellow nominees, Severn Sound Environmental Association and Operation Grow!

This award is a reflection of our staff and incredible volunteers, whose hard work and passion for conservation help make Wye Marsh such a special place.

Wye Marsh has a long history of conservation, perseverance, and community support, and we’re excited for what the future holds!

A special shoutout to Celeste, pictured here with our award, who helps inspire the next generation of environmental stewards through our camps and education programs. And thank you to Jenni for representing Wye Marsh at the celebration!

A little afternoon visitor at Wye Marsh!

We were lucky to spot this beautiful Barred Owl stopping by for a visit. Just look at those dark eyes and those gorgeous feathers!

Did you know? Barred Owls have specially adapted feathers that help them fly almost silently, making it easier to sneak up on their prey. Nature’s very own stealth flyers!

We’re always grateful for these little moments that remind us how much wildlife there is to discover at Wye Marsh.
