About the Melfort Kinettes:

Kin Canada was founded in February of 1920 by Hal Rogers in Hamilton, Ontario.

"Kin Canada is a dynamic volunteer organization enriching our communities through service while embracing national pride, positive values, personal development and lasting friendships." The Kinette Club of Melfort was chartered on April 21, 1948. We recently celebrated 76 years of community service work in Melfort. Our club focuses on raising much needed funds to improve our community including new playgrounds, local scholarships, and assisting with the needs of our community. We also support national Kin Canada initiatives such as Cystic Fibrosis, Canadian Blood Services, and here in Saskatchewan, TeleMiracle. For information check out:

💀🖤 BONE-ITA HAS BEEN A HIT! 🖤💀

Well… we may have created a monster. 😂
The Bone to Be Wild Tour has officially SOLD OUT for the season, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how much fun Melfort has had with our girl, Bone-ita!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who booked her, donated to the cause, welcomed her onto their lawns, and even let her make a few special appearances at local businesses. We’ve loved seeing all the creativity, laughs and, of course, the slightly questionable skeleton sightings around town. 👀💀

And don’t worry… she’s not done yet! Bone-ita will be on tour until just after Halloween, so keep your eyes peeled next week. You never know where she might turn up! 👻

We also have to give a very special shout-out to a local welder who made this whole operation possible. 🔧💀 Kevin Blair Services custom-made Bone-ita’s stand and, quite frankly, without him she’d be a little too flimsy to be the lawn-haunting diva she is. 😂

Thank you for helping us make our very first Bone to Be Wild Tour such a success! Your support helps our Kinette Club continue giving back to our community and supporting causes close to our hearts. ❤️

From all of us — and especially Bone-ita — thank you for letting us haunt your lawns!

💀💋 She’s dying to visit… but you’ll have to wait until next Halloween!

💀🎃 A LITTLE HALLOWEEN FUN IS COMING TO TOWN! 🎃💀

Meet Bone-nita — the newest member of the Melfort Kinette Club!

She's dressed up, she's ready to hit the road, and she's looking for lawns to visit. 👀

We're kicking off a brand-new Halloween fundraiser:
💀 BONE TO BE WILD 💀

Want to give a friend, neighbour, coworker or family member a Halloween surprise?

For $30, we'll send Bone-nita to their lawn for 48 hrs spreading a little Halloween mischief along the way!
Then we'll pick her up and send her on to her next destination.

📩 Want to send Bone-nita somewhere?

Contact the Melfort Kinette Club text (306)921-7706 or (306)209-5128

Let's see just how many lawns Bone-nita can visit this Halloween!

She's dying to meet you. 🦴🎃

Community Update: The Melfort Kinette Club has been working on the revitalization of the Broadway Playground and park. We are slowly making improvements one small project at a time. 🛝

👋 BUT WHAT DO KINETTES ACTUALLY DO?

It's a question we're asked from time to time.

The short answer?
A little bit of everything. 😉

We’re women who believe in giving back to our community.

We volunteer at community events.
We raise funds for local causes.
We support organizations and community initiatives.
We lend a hand when there's work to be done.
And we build friendships along the way.

Some of what we do is highly visible. Some happens quietly behind the scenes.

But it all comes back to the same thing:
💛 Community.

Over the coming months, we're going to share more of the people, projects and causes that make being a Melfort Kinette so rewarding.

And maybe you'll discover that being a Kinette is something you'd like to be part of, too.

💛 WE’RE BACK!

After a summer of busy schedules, sunshine and a little time away, the Melfort Kinettes are getting back together! And we’re excited about what’s ahead.

A new Kinette year means new ideas, new projects, new friendships and, of course, plenty of opportunities to give back to our community.

We’re looking forward to sharing more of what we do, where your support goes, and some of the amazing things happening in Melfort and area.

So if you’re new here—welcome! 👋
And if you’ve been following us for a while—thanks for being part of our Kinette community.

We’ve got lots planned. Let’s get started! 💛
