WE ARE TIRED....AND WE ARE FULL... AND WE NEED HELP!!!🙏 PLEASE. PEOPLE. STOP. DUMPING. YOUR. CATS !!!!!

"Mom and babies were dumped on my brothers farm!" "CAN YOU HELP??" 😟 And so it goes... another Mama and 3 kittens were brought into care this afternoon. Thank you Maureen Meyer for caring for this little family and also for driving them here to us.😽

The 3 kittens were easily caught but Mom was terrified having been dumped, and she needed to be trapped! The family has been happily reunited but the harsh reality is WE CAN'T SAVE THEM ALL.

These cats all need vet care $$$$$ Mom will need to be spayed ASAP to prevent further pregnancies. She may already be pregnant, we don't know. We will spay her as soon as we can book her in, likely next week!. The kittens are maturing quickly and will also need to be fixed soon as well. Deworming, ear mite treatment, vaccinations , snap testing and microchipping are all over and above the cost of regular every day needs like food and litter!

With lack of space (WE ARE FULLLLLLL) and funds running dry we are asking our cat loving community for HELP!~🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

If all of our followers donated a dollar , we would have Gary's bill cleared and then some! So if you think small donations don't count, think again! THEY REALLY DO ADD UP!!! We are reaching out to our Catsask family and friends to get this bill cleared ASAP so we can continue our live saving work!. If you are unable to donate, please share! UPDATE ON GARY!!!

May 15th Gary was rushed into Tisdale vets with a urinary tract blockage caused by stones and terrible crystals which irritated the lining of his bladder, causing inflamation and pain 🥺 It also caused Gary to be unable to p*e, which is a life threatening condition.😱 If not treated, Gary would die a slow and agonizing death. We couldnt allow that to happen.

Gary had a 5 day vet stay to be medicated, flushed out and should have been good as new... However, despite best efforts, some things dont go as planned, and Gary was NOT anywhere near recovered from the urinary issues he was suffering from.

Shortly after coming back into our care it was evident there were problems. Gary wasn't urinating much and straining to do so when he did try. After leaving the litter box there was a lot of growling (pain) and licking his privates. Gary also refused to eat, which can create all sorts of issues of another nature.

After trying everything including syringe feeding, hydrocare and several different wet and dry foods, he refused to eat anything at all. Gary was then taken to our vets here in Melfort, where he underwent more treatment, tests, IV fluids and a plethora of medications. FINALLY Gary is feeling more like himself.

Gary is now eating, drinking and p*eing normally. He seems much more relaxed and content! Gary is the sweetest guy & he welcomes visitors for some pets and chin scratchies

We just had the sweetest thing happen! This wonderful young lady named Jade just stopped over at our booth and donated $40 to the kitties!! Thanks so much Jade! 🥰Sorry we didn't catch your last name but we are so very thankful for your kind and giving heart! 😽

We are all set up at the Four Seasons today and tomorrow! Come check us out!! SOOOOOO many vendors! AND I also hear there are FOOD TRUCKS!!!! WOOT WOOT! I think this year will be a great turn out! Make sure you take the time to stroll through the many vendors and grab yourself a snack while you're out and about!~
