The Bloomers were busy again today!!!! You'll notice lots of color has been added to Veterans Way, Shadd Drive and Broadway Ave. A huge thank you to the volunteers that were able to "dig in" today - Myra, Kelly, Shari, Beth, Grace, and Sherrie. A small but mighty group of dedicated folk bursting with civic pride.

Garage sale in full swing at the Melfort Mall parking lot. All proceeds go towards our next big planned project.

Weather permitting we will be hosting a garage sale FRIDAY, JUNE 5, STARTING AT 10:00 at the MALL PARKING LOT. All proceeds will go towards are next planned big project.

The Bloomers were out and about again. They cleaned up the Mediation Garden in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, the big planter in front of the Big M, and the flowerbed in Spruce Haven. All in all, a lot of great teamwork; thank you, volunteers. (You'll notice it was "heads down" and not much time for photography.)

What better way to kick off Communities in Bloom - Collectivités en fleurs Week in Melfort than to announce our special event planned for Wednesday, May 20th! Please join us for a fun evening of bingo at the Melfort Legion. All proceeds go towards our many beautification projects in Melfort.

Let's be brave and optimistic that spring has finally arrived!! As the snow melts and the garden beds start to reappear, it's time to rent your bed and plan your space. Rentals for the year are $30 or $40, depending on the size. Please let me know what size you would like. Growing your own food is good for your finances, your physical and mental well-being, and our environment.

What a great day - celebrating Volunteer Appreciation Week and Earth Day, all rolled into one. This great bunch of volunteers are planning something fun and exciting for May 20th....stay tuned!
