🎃 A Happy Halloween from the NESPCA! 👻

Halloween is an exciting time of the year to spend with our pets. Whether you're dressing them up for photos or enjoying a movie marathon together, it's important to keep our beloved pets safe while we celebrate.

Here are a few Halloween safety tips

🚗Be mindful while driving! Keep an eye out for children and stray or roaming animals. If you spot an animal wandering on its own, please contact Animal Control at 306-752-7722.

🚪Watch those doors! with trick-or-treaters coming and going, even the sneakiest pets can make a quick escape. Consider keeping them in a separate room or having someone safely hold them while handing out candy.

🍬Keep candy out of reach! Halloween treats can be dangerous to pets. Keep those curious noses away from the candy bowl!

🐾Make sure your pets have identification! With doors opening more frequently, ensure your pets have their collars and identification tags on!

🏠Give them a quiet space! Halloween can be overwhelming for some pets. If they seem stressed, let them relax somewhere quiet and comfortable, away from the festivities!

Meet this charming 1-year-old domestic shorthair who has stolen our hearts with his sweet, laid-back personality. Gomez came to us as a transfer from a local rescue friend, and what a privilege it is to have such a wonderful little gentleman in our care!

Much like his namesake, Gomez is a lover through and through. He's affectionate, easygoing, and gets along wonderfully with other felines. This handsome guy has a certain charm about him that's impossible to resist!

So, if you're a Morticia looking for your Gomez, your search might be over. This sweet, charming gentleman is right here, waiting to sweep you off your feet!

🎉🎈EXCITING NEWS🎈🎉

Miss Honey🍯 came to us late July, and it didn't take long for everyone to fall in love with her sweet personality. But beyond her adorable face and loving nature, Honey had a journey with us that makes this adoption all the more special!

When she first arrived, Honey was suffering from a broken hip and knee. Her recovery meant lots of vet visits, medications, along with months of kennel rest and rehabilitation. And let us tell you, this girl was one tough cookie!💪

Honey had already been through so much, yet throughout her recovery, she remained patient, trusting, and incredibly resilient. From day one, we knew Honey deserved a home that would be absolutely perfect for her. And we are beyond thrilled to announce that Miss Honey has officially found her fur-ever home!🏡💛

After everything this little girl has overcome, we couldn't be happier knowing she gets to begin this next chapter surrounded by love. We are so proud of you, Honey! 💛🍯

Meet Clover!💛

Clover is a 3-month-old lab mix. She is still receiving vaccines and is not old enough to be spayed. We currently don't know too much about this little one, she just arrived today. Clover is still needing potty training but absolutely adores being held and having lots of attention.
