Make sure you are registered for the 2026 season AND signed up for a Face-to-Face (F2F) clinic — this is mandatory for all umpires.

Before attending your clinic, remember to:
✔ Complete all 9 online theory modules
✔ Bring your certificate of completion

If you are 18+, you must also:
✔ Complete your CRC & VSC
✔ Submit them through your RAMP account

⏳ Season is fast approaching, coaches!

If you haven’t completed your Respect in Sport (RiS) certification yet, now is the time to get it done. This is required for all coaches and must be submitted with your Affiliation/Membership by May 15.

The course takes about 3 hours to complete, so don’t wait until the last minute!

LAST DAY TO GET REGISTERED FOR SOFTBALL THIS SPRING!!!

Learn to Play:

U5- 2021, 2022 (recommend they turn 4 by May 1st). Email to discuss further.

U7- 2019, 2020

U9-2017, 2018

Learn to Play starts at the beginning of May, as soon as the diamonds are prepared and wraps up by June 23rd.

Tentative days/times (Need to be approved by City of Melfort)

U5- Mondays/Wednesdays 5:00-5:45

U7- Mondays/Wednesdays 5:00-6:00

U9- To be Determined by Coaches

U9 typically participates in the North East League that hosts one day Mini Tournaments

U11 House League:

All girls born in 2015, 2016 are welcome to join the U11 House League Team. There is NO experience necessary! House League ball runs from May 1st (as soon as we can get on the diamond) until June 23rd.

They will practice twice weekly and participate in the North East League. There will be a one day League wrap up Tournament at the end of the season.

COACHES ARE NECESSARY FOR ALL OF THESE TEAMS TO HAPPEN! Please consider volunteering your time to coach. Player registration fees are waived for Coaches.

Melfort is NOT hosting an Umpire Clinic this spring. Tisdale is the closest location but there are others available.

All umpires must complete the new two-step certification process this year:

1️⃣ Register through RAMP (2026/2027 rulebook included in your registration fee)
2️⃣ Complete all 9 online theory modules
3️⃣ Attend one mandatory Face-to-Face clinic

Thanks to all who have been coming out to the Drop In Sessions this winter. It was a lot of fun and we are looking forward to it again next year!
We are now DONE with Sunday Drop Ins as teams will start to have their own individual practices to prepare for May!
