Thank You to the 77 ladies who came out to the Girls Night In kick off at the Canadian Cancer Society North Eastern Unit office Tuesday night. The Delectable Desserts & Display Night was a huge success. We were able to bring awareness to Woman’s cancers and had a lot of fun doing it. Your generous donations of over 1,100.00 will go towards Woman’s cancers right here in Saskatchewan. And thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors - you're amazing!!!
If you missed the event: Girls Night In is a way to get the girls together now so we can keep the girls together later.
Why women's cancers?
In 2012, an estimated 960 women in Saskatchewan are expected to be diagnosed with breast, cervical, ovarian or uterine cancer, and an estimated 255 deaths from these diseases will occur. These cancers are not discriminatory and have a devastating impact on women and those who love them. By donating what you would have spent on a night out with the girls, you are helping to fund information and support services for women living with cancer in Saskatchewan.
