Just a few days left!

Our August 50/50 is wrapping up, and there’s still time to get your tickets and help us make this month a great one for the dogs in our care.

Ticket sales close Monday, August 31 at 4:00 PM.
The draw takes place at 5:00 PM.

We’re so grateful to everyone who has already bought tickets, shared our posts, or told a friend. It all adds up, and it truly makes a difference.

EMERGENCY PLACEMENT FOR A PUG MOM TO BE.

Where are the angels among us who can provide a loving foster home for a litter of precious puppies? 🐾❤️

This little mama went to the vet in California for her transport paperwork and received the surprise of a lifetime - she's expecting!!!!! We're counting down the days, only 2-3 weeks to go! 🕰️ We're sending out a heartfelt plea to the universe to find her a safe haven, a place to nest and prepare for the arrival of her little bundles of joy. 🌟

At a time when we're already feeling overwhelmed, we need your help to create a soft landing for this sweet girl.

Can you help us spread the word? Maybe you know someone who can provide a loving home? 🤝 Let's come together to make a difference in the life of this precious mama and her soon-to-arrive puppies! 🐾💕

A new month, a new 50/50… and a new furry face to introduce!

Meet Bruno, our August featured dog. 🧡

Bruno is 4 years old, full of personality, and looking for his forever home. He’s an adventure buddy, Netflix reviewer and, apparently, a professional hugger. We thought his sweet little face was pretty perfect for this month’s raffle.

Our August 50/50 is officially open, and as always, we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who buys a ticket, shares our posts, or helps us spread the word.

These monthly raffles help us keep doing what we love most: saying yes to dogs who need us. Vet care, foster homes, rehabilitation, second chances and everything in between - your support helps make it all possible! 🫶

Real time Naps happening now. 4:50 am pick up in Arlington Washington off the Rescue Express 3 of the 4 newbie 🇨🇦’s sleeping off their transport hangovers. Life is about to get really really good! Thanks Monica Rinehart Riddle JeSus Maria for doing the heavy lifting to make them transport ready. is the dreamwork. Stay tuned for vet appts tomorrow.

IMMEDIATE FOSTER HOME NEEDED!

Hank IS STILL HOMELESS!!

Please help Hank find a no other dog foster home by Sunday.

This little guy just needs a safe place to land. He’ll be your best buddy as he loves his humans. He needs to be the only dog as having to fight for your food to survive means you may not want another dog near your food! He needs a patient owner who can continue his house training and we will supply belly bands for in the house.

He’s a senior boy who doesn’t need much to be going on other than to enjoy a comfy bed and some human attention.

He’s lived a hard life on the streets and now is his time to enjoy the retirement he deserves here with SDRBC.

CAN YOU PLEASE SHARE THIS POST FAR AND WIDE AND LET’S FIND HIM THE BEST PLACEMENT POSSIBLE.

FOSTER NEEDED for senior HANK starting Sunday August 16th.

Let’s get this elder boy into a stable place so he can begin his journey to find a forever home to call his own.

Being an only dog is best as he’s had to fight for his food on the streets. He doesn’t like to share with the other dogs.

He’s enjoying the pampering at his California foster home and he’d love to continue that here in BC. He’s still learning his bathroom routine as he probably lived outside most of his life. He will come with belly bands.

Please share this post so we can get him into his foster home as soon as he lands here in Canada.
