Larry Rupp is a native of the Salt Lake Valley where he grew up on the remains of a small family farm. He taught landscape horticulture and plant propagation at Utah State University for 35 years before his retirement in 2019. While there he served as department head for the Plants, Soils, and Climate Department and helped create the Center for Water Efficient Landscaping. Elaine has worked with beneficial insects for over 12 years, first as a greenhouse manager and currently as a technical sales specialist for Sound Horticulture. She has also operated her own gardening and container design business, worked at a retail nursery and is a Certified Professional Horticulturist (CPH) with the Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association.
