Join WPL and SPECTRUM for a reading circle for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks and allies that takes less commitment than a book club. We'll have different readings (short stories, essays, poetry, etc) that we will read together and then discuss. No preparation needed! An Update on Multi-Sport for September:

Due to renovations happening at the DCC, we will have no pickleball or multi-sport events during the middle two weeks in September. This would be the weekend of September 11 and September 18. Programming will run as usual for the first week of September (next week) and the last week of September.

For the two weeks the main gyms won't be accessible, we're offering two free yoga classes with instructor Eric (he/him) on Saturday, September 12 and Saturday, September 19 from 5:00 - 6:30 PM at another room in the DCC. Please note we will be unable to access the mats due to the renovations, so you will need to bring your own mat to these sessions. A reminder that Sexual Assault Support Centre of Waterloo Region holds their Rainbow of Healing on the second Thursday of every month (next Thursday!) at our space. This group is a dedicated support and healing group for 2SLGBTQIA+ folks who are survivors of sexual violence. This group is open to all folks 16+ who are in need of support.
