Why have one kitten when you can have two? ❤️🐾

That’s exactly what this family thought when they met Sophie and Slater! Sometimes, one kitten just isn’t enough, and these two little ones are going to bring so much love, laughter, and mischief into their new home.

Now they’ll have each other to play with, snuggle up beside, and grow up together, all while being spoiled by their wonderful new family. There’s something extra special about finding a home where you get to stay with your furry best friend.

Happy tails, Sophie and Slater! Your forever adventure together has just begun, and we couldn’t be happier for you both! 😻💕

Freda Has Found Her Forever Home ❤️

This beautiful girl has had a rough journey. A little shy and still learning to trust humans, Freda was once adopted, but sadly, it wasn’t the right fit. It was hard to watch her get overlooked, but we always believed her person was out there.

A couple of weeks ago, that special person walked through our doors, spent time with Freda, and knew they needed each other. ❤️

Words cannot express how happy we are for Freda. Everyone deserves to be loved, and we believe this is where she will finally blossom, surrounded by patience, love, cuddles, and all the spoiling she deserves.

Happy tails, sweet Freda. Your time to shine has finally come! 🐾💕

Simone has been adopted!!!

This stunning gal, now named Milan, wiggled her way into a beautiful couples heart and there was no turning back. She will have a life time of love, cuddles and being spoiled. I'm so excited for her...she deserves the best life ever. Live life to the fullest Milan!!❤️

Judy is one lucky gal. Her sweet, quiet yet playful personality tug at the hearts of a young family and they knew she just had to become part of their home. We will miss this sweet gal, but so thrilled that she will be loved by many. Home Sweet Home Judy🥰

Guess who found herself a home where she will get all the attention. Jeannie is a beautifully marked tortoiseshell who will be surrounded by love., playtime, cuddles and spoils. We are super excited for her and her new family.

Exactly 6 years ago today, I crawled underneath a trailer and saw something that has never left me.
Underneath that trailer were the remains of kittens and cats who had frozen to death through our Canadian winters.

There was someone on the property feeding them, so this wasn’t about a lack of food. They simply didn’t have the shelter and protection they needed to survive those bitter cold winters.
That is something I will never forget. But that day wasn’t only about loss. I was also able to rescue some of the kittens and cats from that property and get them to safety.

People often see rescue as emails, phone calls, posts, vet appointments, adoptions. And yes, that’s all part of it. But rescue is also crawling underneath trailers, going into places you wish no animal ever had to live, seeing things that break your heart and then continuing, because there are still lives that can be saved.

And yes, this is definitely not my best picture😩 This is apparently what I look like with no sleep while trying to save lives. Messy hair, tired eyes, dirty clothes, not glamorous. But real.
This is rescue for me, doing whatever it takes.

Over the years, I’ve seen things I wish I could forget. And I carry the ones I couldn’t save with me, but I also carry the ones who made it. The ones who learned to trust, who finally felt warmth, who discovered what it meant to be safe and loved.

Those are the lives that keep me going. 6 years later, the passion is still here. I’ll still crawl underneath that trailer, still get dirty, still lose sleep, still show up and still fight for them. Because no animal should ever have to freeze beneath a trailer, forgotten and alone. As long as I am able, I will keep showing up for them.

Update!! TAbitha❤️

Our sweet senior Tabitha went through an emergency eye removal after suffering far too long. I rushed her in, and you all stepped up. Because of your kindness, her surgery and aftercare were covered.
Now she’s safe, pain-free, and healing beautifully. She’s a gentle senior who adores attention, leans into pets, and still has so much love to give.

If you’re struggling to care for an animal, please surrender them to a trusted rescue or organization so they can get timely medical help. Thank you for being her lifeline. She’ll be looking for the soft place to land very soon.
