The Alliance for CancerCare Equity (ACCE) is a registered charity in Canada dedicated to advancing equity in cancer care.

Our Mission:
To promote equity in cancer care from prevention through survivorship, providing comprehensive support to patients and families facing the challenges of this life-threatening illness. We passionately believe that no individual should lose their life to cancer simply because they lack the financial means to afford treatment. Furthermore, we are committed to ensuring that a patient's financial circumstances never dictate their chances of survival.

At Alliance for CancerCare Equity, we've embarked on an ambitious mission: to cover the costs of cancer treatment and related expenses for patients who lack the financial means to pay for their care. By doing so, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on families and empower patients to focus on their recovery journey without financial worry.

**EQUITY MEANS ACCESS TO SCREENING AND CARE**
Should someone's chance of detecting cancer early depend on where they live, how much they earn, or their background?
Absolutely not.
Everyone deserves a fair opportunity to access cancer education, recommended screening, timely diagnosis, treatment, and support throughout survivorship.
Yet financial challenges, limited access to healthcare services, and other barriers can make navigating the cancer journey more difficult for some individuals and families.
At the Alliance for CancerCare Equity (ACCE), we believe that no one should face unnecessary barriers to cancer care.
Together, we can raise awareness, advocate for equitable policies, and build partnerships that help more people access the care they need.

Getting cancer care shouldn't be harder just because someone has less money, lives far from a hospital, or faces language barriers.
Yet these challenges can affect how easily people access screening, diagnosis, treatment, and support.
We need to keep working toward a system where people can get the care they need without these extra obstacles.

Cancer care isn't equally accessible to everyone.
For some people, getting the care they need means dealing with transportation problems, financial stress, language barriers, or long waits to see a specialist.
These challenges shouldn't stand in the way of someone's chance to get care.
