The Alliance for CancerCare Equity (ACCE) is a registered charity in Canada dedicated to advancing equity in cancer care.

Our Mission:
To promote equity in cancer care from prevention through survivorship, providing comprehensive support to patients and families facing the challenges of this life-threatening illness. We passionately believe that no individual should lose their life to cancer simply because they lack the financial means to afford treatment. Furthermore, we are committed to ensuring that a patient's f

inancial circumstances never dictate their chances of survival.

At Alliance for CancerCare Equity, we've embarked on an ambitious mission: to cover the costs of cancer treatment and related expenses for patients who lack the financial means to pay for their care. By doing so, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on families and empower patients to focus on their recovery journey without financial worry.

Today, we launch the 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯. We believe equity in cancer care requires continuous, collective commitment. A sustained monthly contribution of $5 provides vital care access and resources to individuals facing cancer.

Where you live, what you earn, or what resources you have should never determine your cancer outcome.
Early detection can make a meaningful difference, but access to screening and preventive care is not always equal.
Communities are healthier when cancer screening is:
🔹 Accessible — available to people wherever they live
🔹 Affordable — not limited by financial circumstances
🔹 Inclusive — responsive to diverse communities and their needs

Cancer affects more than the body.
A cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship can bring many emotions: stress, uncertainty, fear, sadness, or simply feeling overwhelmed.
Taking care of your mental and emotional well-being is an important part of the cancer journey.
* Acknowledge your feelings
* Talk with someone you trust
* Consider counseling or other professional support
* Practice mindfulness or relaxation
* Stay connected with supportive family, friends, or community
There is no shame in asking for help. Mental health deserves the same compassion and attention as physical health.

Know Your Screening Options and Advocate for Yourself
Your health deserves your voice.
It’s okay to ask questions. It’s okay to ask why a screening is recommended. And if something doesn’t feel right, it’s okay to speak up and ask about follow-up care.
Knowing your screening options and being involved in your own healthcare can make a real difference.
Make screening a priority, and remind someone you care about to do the same.
