Alliance for CancerCare Equity

Alliance for CancerCare Equity The Alliance for CancerCare Equity (ACCE) is a registered charity in Canada dedicated to advancing equity in cancer care.

Our Mission:
To promote equity in cancer care from prevention through survivorship, providing comprehensive support to patients and families facing the challenges of this life-threatening illness. We passionately believe that no individual should lose their life to cancer simply because they lack the financial means to afford treatment. Furthermore, we are committed to ensuring that a patient's f

inancial circumstances never dictate their chances of survival.

At Alliance for CancerCare Equity, we've embarked on an ambitious mission: to cover the costs of cancer treatment and related expenses for patients who lack the financial means to pay for their care. By doing so, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on families and empower patients to focus on their recovery journey without financial worry.

Early detection saves lives.
Education helps communities understand symptoms, screening recommendations, and risk factors so people can seek care sooner.
But awareness must be matched with equitable access to care.
No patient should be left behind.
Help us reach our goal.

MYTH vs FACT
MYTH: Life goes back to normal as soon as treatment ends.
FACT: Many cancer survivors continue to face emotional, physical, and financial challenges long after treatment.
Survivorship can mean ongoing healing, follow-up care, and adjusting to a new normal.
Greater awareness creates stronger support for survivors.
Please share to help raise awareness.

June is National Cancer Survivor Month
We honor the strength of those living beyond cancer.
Survivorship means more than finishing treatment. It often includes healing, ongoing care, and adjusting to a new normal.
Every survivor deserves continued support and compassion.
Please share to raise awareness.

No patient should be left behind.
Not in awareness.
Not in diagnosis.
Not in treatment.
Not in survivorship.
Thank you for being part of a month filled with advocacy, compassion, education, and meaningful action.
Every share, conversation, and act of support helped strengthen this mission.

This month, we raised awareness
We honored mothers.
We amplified survivor voices.
We educated communities.
And we reminded ourselves what it truly means to stand behind patients with real support and advocacy.
Every conversation and every shared story helps create impact.
Because awareness matters most when it moves people to act.
Help us continue the mission:
Share to raise awareness.

Community is the mission
Cancer equity is not created by one organization alone. It takes people who care enough to speak up, show up, give back, and serve others.
At ACCE, every step forward is made possible by a community committed to making sure no patient is left behind.
That is how meaningful change happens.

Cancer should never become a death sentence because someone cannot afford treatment.

Through Alliance for CancerCare Equity, we are raising funds to support cancer patients in Ghana who are currently waiting for access to care. Many families are facing impossible choices, and without financial assistance, treatment often does not happen.

Our campaign goal is $5,000 by the end of June, and we still have a long way to go. We have reached 9% so far, thanks to the generosity of friends and supporters.

I’m asking today for your help to move this mission forward.

A donation of any size can make a meaningful impact:

Please also consider reposting or sharing this message with your network. Awareness can be just as powerful as giving.

Together, we can help bring hope and compassionate care to patients who urgently need it.

This April, help ACCE ensure no patient in Ghana is left behind in their fight against cancer.
