Join us this morning Nexus!

The end of our season is fast approaching, and this Sunday serves as a kind of epilogue to our Anthropology series.

Brad will tell the powerful story behind one of J.M.W. Turner’s most haunting paintings, a story that invites us to wrestle with a challenging question: What are human beings, really?

Together we'll explore how easily people can be reduced to labels and categories, and why the Jesus Path claim that every person bears the image of God remains so disruptive and hopeful. As we close this series, we'll consider what it means to honestly face who we are while trusting that the first word over humanity is image and the final word is grace.

10:00 AM at St. Andrew's Church
It's also Soup Sunday, so remember to bring your own bowl and spoon. We'll be sharing Eucharist together with our kids as part of the gathering.

We'd love to see you there.

Nexus,

Join us this morning at 10am at St. Andrew’s as we celebrate Pentecost and explore the Holy Spirit as both comforter and disruptor, Dove and Wild Goose.

Together we’ll reflect on Acts 2, the idea of Original Blessing, and how the Spirit still moves in and through our lives today.

Whether you’re looking for community, space to reflect, great music, or a good cup of coffee, we’d love to have you with us for The Spirit in Us - A Wild Goose Chase?

Good morning Nexus,

This Sunday we wrap up our Anthropology series by asking: what happens when anthropology meets faith?

What if the goal of the Jesus Path is not to become someone who needs less grace, but someone less afraid of needing it?

Join us this morning at 10am at St. Andrew’s as we close the series with:

“A Welcome for the Weary.”

Good morning Nexus!

Join us today at 10am at St. Andrew's Church as we continue our Anthropology series with Politics Without Salvation.

In a polarized age, politics can quietly shape not just our opinions, but how we see other people. This morning, we’ll explore what the Jesus Path might offer instead, a way of seeking truth and justice without letting contempt have the final word.

Good morning Nexus!

Join us this morning as we continue our Anthropology series with

“The Weight of Love.”

What do we expect from the people we love? And when they fall short, what story do we tell ourselves about why?

This week, we’ll explore how a low anthropology might actually lead to more honest, merciful, and resilient relationships.

See you at 10am at St. Andrew's.

Good morning, Nexus!

Today we ask a simple question:

What if the “self” isn’t something to be found, but something to be formed?

We’ll explore the tension between “be yourself” and Jesus’ invitation to deny yourself, and why the self may be less stable than we think…and why that might actually be good news.

Join us for The Burden of Being Yourself.

10AM at St. Andrew’s
Plan to stick around after for Soup Sunday!
Bring a bowl and spoon and stay to eat and connect.
