Our KWSA Park Social brought artists together for a relaxed morning of sketching, chatting, sharing ideas, and enjoying the beauty of Silver Lake. No agenda, no pressure—just good company and creativity outdoors.

🎨 Volunteers Needed for the KWSA Festival! 🎨

Our festival is coming together—and we need you to help make it happen!

We’re looking for volunteers to help with everything from set-up and logistics to event supervision and clean-up.

Whether you can lend a hand for a few hours or help throughout the day, every bit makes a difference. Together, we can create a wonderful festival for our artists and community!

Let’s take our art outside! Join Jason, Marcia & Neetika for a relaxed morning of drawing around Silver Lake in Waterloo Park.

📍 Waterloo Park – Silver Lake

No RSVP, no agenda, no pressure. Just bring your sketchbook, find one of us, and draw, chat, wander and enjoy the park together. Some of us may even head out for coffee or lunch afterward! ☕🥪

We’ll make it up as we go. 😊

Rain check: If it’s raining, the gathering will be cancelled—use your own judgement that morning.

Art is even more meaningful when it’s shared!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Artists at Work at the Waterloo Public Library! Watching ideas come to life, connecting with the community, and talking about our creative process made for a truly memorable afternoon.

A special thank you to Waterloo Public Library for hosting this wonderful event and creating a welcoming space for artists and the community to connect. And thank you to Laurie Varga for beautifully capturing these moments so we can relive them.

What a wonderful way to spend Canada Day! 🇨🇦🎨

Our studio was filled with creativity, conversation, and collaboration as KWSA artists invited visitors to become part of the creative process. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, picked up a brush, shared a smile, and made the afternoon so special.
