🚨 Attention Waterloo Region 🚨

Centre for Mutual Wellbeing is hosting our 5th Annual Snapshot of Hate Report Launch and London Family Memorial next Saturday and we want you there!

This year’s event theme is Standing Together Against Hate.

At CMW, we are committed to reducing hate in Waterloo Region, and that starts with conversations and events like these that explore local hate trends and how we can build a safer, more inclusive community together.

Whether you have personally experienced hate, witnessed it directed toward others, or simply care about making Waterloo Region a welcoming place for everyone, we encourage you to attend.

The event is taking place on June 6th from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Family Center in Kitchener.

The event is free, all you have to do is register. Here is the link;

We were honoured to join Canadian Arab Women's Association yesterday for such a meaningful milestone, while also celebrating Arab Heritage Month. The evening was vibrant, inspiring, and full of energy.

It was especially powerful to hear the stories of Arab women—their journeys of immigration, resilience, and success. These voices remind us of the strength, contributions, and impact of Arab women in our communities.

Congratulations to the Canadian Arab Women Association on 10 incredible years of empowering women and building community. Here’s to many more years of success!

A couple weeks ago we were visited by Shel from the office of Catherine Fife to drop off some personal hygiene products courtesy of MPP Fife.

Thank you so much for your generosity! These will go a long way for our transitional housing program!
