Directions

TransitionKW TransitionKW is Transition community for KW region. We encourage citizens to become involved and empowered in creating a viable and sustainable future.

TransitionKW encourages citizens to become involved and empowered in creating a viable and sustainable future for ourselves and future generations. We seek to do this in an environmentally, socially, and economically responsible fashion. Our model, and the model of all Transition Towns, is The Transition Handbook by Rob Hopkins. His book provides a blueprint for creating a richer, more vibrant community through the re-localization of all the services and resources that we need. We cannot ignore the problems of depleting fossil fuels and global warming. However, there are solutions. We aim to unite with others to share our knowledge and skills to find these solutions.
